Wedding Videography

Videography

Video recording is becoming increasingly popular providing a more vivid record of the day than is possible with photographs alone. As with the photographer, ask to see examples of work before deciding and ask how the recording will actually be made. The best wedding videos come from two (or more) cameras, strategically placed to capture different aspects of the same course of events, edited together afterwards for presentation.

Editing, and the addition of music and titles, should be included in the price and some companies will add a commentary to the finished product, if asked, as an extra.

The cost of videoing a wedding varies a great deal around the country and you should expect to pay anything from £450 to £1,000, depending on the experience and reputation of the company, location and extras.

Some ministers and priests will not permit photography or videoing inside the church; check first to avoid last-minute disappointments.
