What to Wear for a Wedding
Choosing what everyone will wear for your wedding can be a real dream and pleasure or an utter nightmare! If you start planning well in advance, however, it shouldn't be too difficult.
Start by deciding what sort of wedding it will be - formal or informal, traditional or contemporary. Consider the time of year you have chosen for the wedding, and what sort of fabrics and colours might be appropriate.
You can start researching your wedding dress up to a year in advance, then trying on dresses 7-11 months ahead of the wedding. Try to make your final choice about 6 months before the big day, as most dresses will need to be individually ordered, made and fitted.
After you have chosen your dress, you can then look for dresses for your bridesmaids - make sure you involve them as much as possible in the decision, after all, they have to be comfortable wearing them on the day.
Married in white, you have chosen alright
Married in green, ashamed to be seen
Married in grey, you'll go far away
Married in red, you'll wish yourself dead
Married in blue, love ever true
Married in yellow, ashamed of your fellow
Married in black, you'll wish yourself back
Married in pink, your spirits will sink
